200 Students in Đắk Lắk Receive COPI Scholarships to Pursue Education

SÔNG HINH, ĐẮK LẮK – On the morning of September 12, the new school year became warmer and more meaningful at Nguyễn Du High School (Sông Hinh Commune) with the COPI Scholarship Award Ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year. This was one of several scholarship award events held across Đắk Lắk Province, giving encouragement to 200 disadvantaged students to continue their educational journey.

At the solemn ceremony hosted at Nguyễn Du High School, 42 students from Sông Hinh Commune who have overcome hardships in their studies were honored to receive valuable scholarships from Children Of Peace International (COPI), in collaboration with the Provincial Study Promotion Association and local authorities.
Attending and presenting the scholarships were Mrs. Phạm Thị Ngọc Tuyết – Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Đắk Lắk Province; Mrs. Huỳnh Thị Thu Trang – Standing Deputy Secretary of the Commune Party Committee; and Mr. Bá Minh Hiếu – Vice Chairman of Sông Hinh Commune People’s Committee, along with representatives from the Study Promotion Association and sponsors.
Each scholarship for high school students included 2,500,000 VND, while lower secondary students received 2,000,000 VND and primary students 1,000,000 VND in cash, plus 20 notebooks. Four students with special needs also received bicycles. These gifts not only offered timely financial support but also served as a strong source of motivation, easing the burden on families at the start of the school year.
Representing the scholarship recipients, student Lương Văn Quang Truyền of class 12C8, Nguyễn Du High School, expressed heartfelt gratitude: “The COPI Scholarship is not only material support but also a great spiritual encouragement, strengthening our confidence and determination to overcome difficulties. We promise to study harder and strive for excellence to live up to the expectations and trust placed in us.”
Also on September 12, the delegation awarded 76 scholarships to students at Phan Bội Châu High School (Sơn Hà Commune) and 82 students at Phan Đình Phùng High School (Sông Cầu Ward).
For the 2025–2026 academic year, COPI’s scholarship program provided a total of 200 awards to disadvantaged students across Đắk Lắk Province, from primary to high school. The program, launched in 2022 and set to run for five years, demonstrates the sponsor’s long-term commitment to education and study promotion in the region.
These meaningful scholarships, delivered at the very start of the school year, not only spread the spirit of solidarity and compassion but also serve as a powerful encouragement, helping students stay confident on their journey of learning and personal growth.
